ABBA
Fever were "bjorn" in late 2003 as an extension of T-Junction
Showband. Since then the tribute act has graced venues such as Glasgow's
SECC, Glasgow Hilton and are a regular fixture at the Normandy Hotel in
Renfrew.
Maggie plays the Frida role with ease
with fabulous vocal simulation, and Elaine
slips into the Agnetha role with spectacular high range vocals - both
girls complimenting each other in perfect harmony. As with T-Junction
Showband, the backline boys support the girls with live guitars and
keyboards, assuming the aliases of Benny and Bjorn.
ABBA Fever are acclaimed to be the
closest simulation to ABBA to date with cutting edge presentation and
exceptional attention to detail on musical production,
directed and arranged by multi-instrumentalist Colin
McGeady.
A typical show consists of a highly
energetic choreographed one hour show of ABBA's greatest hits, followed
by a second half show containing a wide variety of popular music from T-Junction Showband.
