CMM's Production
Studio is a professional recording unit in Westerwood, North
of Glasgow and has been elegantly designed by Barn
West Engineer Fergie McAllister. The unit is 18x9 feet and proportionally
designed for maximum output of all in-house monitoring systems. It is
professionally soundproofed with a unique finish of laminate flooring
and insulated ceiling. The unit is bright and well ventilated with car
parking facilities available.
Projects are built from scratch at CMM and we can
offer professionals a unique writing and recording environment without
the pressure of hourly rates. The surroundings are very peaceful and aimed
at individuals aspiring to indulge and complete their own projects in
their own time frame.
For constructing your project we offer Cubase VST
with a vast array of outboard midi instruments, together with expert sequencing
techniques. Piano, guitar, bass, drumming and producer assistance available
if necessary. For mixing we use the famous Mackie 8 Buss and if Vocals
are required we use a Nuemann. 48 Digital Audio channels @ 48khz/24 bit
are available and projects are mixed and mastered to Pro-Tools 24 system.
For a final polish, projects are mastered with TC Electronics Finalizer
and Glass Master CDs are produced at standard red book.
Clients include Scottish Power, Irish Tourist Board,
BP, ROSPA, Pro-Comm A/V and several
solo artists. Commissions include Glasgow's 'Burrell Collection' and Belfast's
'Conflict of Centuries'.
Proprietor Colin McGeady composes and produces all his own material at CMM which includes filmscores
(see soundclips above), his ongoing album 'Novenas' and more noteably produces all the sequenced material for T-Junction
Showband and ABBA Fever. |
